Bible:
  • ​listen and respond to God's story
  • talk to God through group and individual prayer

​Social and Emotional:

  • understand print concepts (left to right progression when reading, spaces between words, ending marks, text has meaning)

  • decode CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) words
  • discuss narrative and information test and their characteristics

  • recall details in stories
  • make text to self connections
  • participate in shared, guided, and individual reading experiences using quality literature, poetry, and rhymes
